Chargeman

  • Oversee electrical and mechanical maintenance operations, including repair, maintenance, inspection, and improvements.
  • Perform all maintenance activities associated with LV and HV switchgear, as well as electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical building systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations regarding electrical systems and installations.
  • Liaising with TNB, DOSH, Majlis, and other regulatory bodies regarding utility services and compliance issues.
  • Address all power and machine failures, including shorts and trips, and implement necessary corrections.
  • Supervise the work performed by maintenance staff and contractors to ensure adherence to by-laws, standards, and safety requirements.
  • Monitor and update the expiration dates and renewals of machine and equipment registrations.
  • Assist in the investigation of accidents or incidents related to electrical installations and equipment to determine root causes and prevent them from happening again
