Project coordination:

• Assist the Project Manager in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.

Site supervision:

• Conduct regular site visits to ensure that work is being carried out as per the project plan, specifications, and quality standards.
• Address any issues or delays that arise on-site, coordinating with relevant parties to find solutions.
• Ensure that safety regulations and quality control procedures are strictly followed.

Documentation and reporting:

• Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, plans, schedules, and progress reports.
• Assist in preparing and submitting required reports to clients, management, and regulatory bodies.
• Document any changes to the project scope and ensure that all stakeholders are informed.

Client and stakeholder communication:

• Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns or questions.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other consultants to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Participate in project meetings and provide input on project planning and execution.

Team support:

• Support the Project Manager in managing the project team, including assigning tasks and responsibilities.
• Provide guidance and support to junior staff and ensure that they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience supervising large-scale construction projects/ construction project management (no infrastructure/ oil & gas).
• A minimum of 3 years in an Assistant Project Manager role.
• A proven history of successfully managing and delivering complex construction projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
• Experience in project management within a consultancy or architectural firm is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Fluency in English. It involves presentation/ chairing meetings with clients and consultants. Mandarin speaking preferable.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
