Restaurant General Manager
Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant General Manager to oversee our establishment in Kuwait. This full-time position requires a candidate with at least 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient restaurant operations, leading a dedicated team, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance guest satisfaction. The Restaurant General Manager will play a vital role in maintaining a positive dining atmosphere while meeting financial goals and upholding safety and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily operations of the restaurant to ensure efficiency and high standards of service.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to create a cohesive and skilled team.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and implementing cost-control measures.
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Resolve conflicts or guest complaints promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and minimizing waste.
- Implement marketing strategies to promote the restaurant and attract new customers.
- Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant to maintain cleanliness, quality, and safety standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Good budgeting and financial management abilities.
- Effective conflict resolution and crisis management skills.
- Knowledge of safety compliance regulations within the restaurant industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
