The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring efficient and effective execution of engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities. This role fosters collaboration among teams, promotes decentralized decision-making, and drives the project towards successful completion, meeting all planned scope, cost, and schedule targets. Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and commissioning.
Monitoring contractor performance and ensuring compliance with designs.
Managing resource mobilization/demobilization.
Facilitating risk management workshops.
Driving continuous improvement for operational excellence.
Reporting health, safety, and environmental violations.
Creating and submitting monthly project reports.
Reviewing and approving procedures, designs, and SOPs.
Monitoring and controlling project objectives.
Reporting monthly revenue for analysis.
Providing regular updates on client issues and their resolution.
Motivating staff and contractors/subcontractor workers for high performance.
Setting and reviewing performance objectives.
Reporting health and safety issues to management.
Directing safe evacuation procedures.
Ensuring compliance with safety and evacuation procedures within the designated area.
Ensuring adherence to ISO standards and coordinating with other departments.
Key Qualifications:
Expertise: Proven experience in project management within the Oil & Gas sector.
Conceptualization: Strong ability to think strategically and creatively.
Project Management: Deep understanding of project management practices.
Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage client expectations.
Education: Graduate degree in Engineering.
Experience: Over 10 years of experience in project management, contracting, and construction, with at least 3 years in the Middle East.
