We have an open role for Position Title-Director of Food & Beverage a well-established hospitality Group in Bahrain. *** Kindly share your CV to jincy@careermakerbh.com The Director of Food & Beverage is responsible for overseeing the entire Food & Beverage (F&B) operation within the hotel, ensuring exceptional service, quality, and profitability. This includes managing all restaurants, bars, room service, banquet operations, and catering services. The role demands a strategic leader with a deep understanding of the luxury hospitality sector and the ability to drive the highest standards of guest satisfaction and financial performance. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement the F&B department’s strategic plan in alignment with the hotel’s overall objectives.
Monitor industry trends to stay ahead of competitors and ensure the hotel offers cutting-edge and innovative F&B services.
Operational Management:
Oversee the daily operations of all F&B outlets, including restaurants, bars, room service, and banqueting.
Ensure compliance with all food safety, health, and safety regulations.
Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and customer service.
Financial Management:
Prepare and manage the department’s budget, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.
Analyze financial data to optimize costs, maximize profitability, and achieve revenue goals.
Oversee inventory management, including procurement, stock control, and cost management.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and develop the F&B team, ensuring high levels of employee engagement and retention.
Conduct regular training sessions to enhance service skills, product knowledge, and customer interaction.
Manage staffing levels, recruitment, and performance appraisals.
Guest Experience:
Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction by maintaining consistent quality in service and product offerings.
Address guest concerns and feedback promptly to maintain a positive reputation.
Collaborate with the culinary team to create and maintain innovative menus that reflect the hotel’s brand and guest preferences.
Marketing and Sales:
Work with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional strategies to drive F&B sales.
Collaborate with the sales team to promote the hotel’s F&B offerings for events, conferences, and banquets.
Foster relationships with local businesses, suppliers, and influencers to enhance the hotel’s F&B profile.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in F&B management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a luxury hotel environment.
Proven track record of managing diverse teams and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and revenue management.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in F&B management software and MS Office Suite.
