We are seeking an experienced and talented procurement and logistics professional to join our operations team. This individual will be responsible for managing the procurement of raw materials and components to support product development and manufacturing, with a strong emphasis on building partnerships with suppliers. Responsibilities
Timely creation and distribution of raw materials, components, equipment, tooling, supplies and services Purchase Orders
to support NPI, R&D and manufacturing activities.
Confirm delivery dates and expedite.
Development and Implementation of cost-saving initiatives
Ensure that good partnerships are created and maintained between the company and vendors/suppliers.
Complete Procurement tasks in accordance with SOP standards
Participate in MRB session for non-conforming materials and activate timely return of non-[A1] conforming materials to vendor
Prepare monthly management reports, metrics for Supplier Scorecards
Import/Export activities
Requirements:
Practical engineer or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/ Electronics/ Industrial/ Logistics Engineering
or other relevant discipline with a focus on Procurement
At least 4-5 years’ experience in a Procurement and or planning role within a manufacturing environment - experience in medical device
company - advantage.
At least 2-3 years’ experience in import/export activities
Strong knowledge of Procurement in ERP/MRP Systems (Priority - advantage)
Good computer skills in office and PLM (Agile – advantage)
