Nuvo Healthcare Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Team Leader for our client based in Co.Cavan. Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and support a team of care staff in delivering exceptional care to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Person-Centered Care: Ensure all services are delivered in a manner that respects and promotes the dignity, independence, and rights of service users.
Staff Development: Supervise, mentor, and develop team members, conducting regular appraisals and addressing any training needs.
Compliance & Standards: Maintain the highest standards of care in line with relevant legislation, health and safety protocols, and organizational policies.
Care Planning: Oversee the development, implementation, and review of individualized care plans in collaboration with service users, their families, and other professionals.
Communication: Act as a point of contact between staff, service users, families, and external professionals, ensuring effective communication and continuity of care.
Crisis Management: Respond to and manage incidents or emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents.
Administrative Duties: Manage rota scheduling, staff records, and ensure compliance with reporting and documentation.
What we are looking for:
A third level qualifications in the area of health & social care i.e Social work, Social Care, Social Policy, Psychology ( or other relevant discipline )
Minimum of two years' experience in a supervisory or line management
Personal commitment towards a journey of continuous professional development
Full driving license, permitting you to legally drive in Ireland
Professional commitment and passion in making a difference in the lives of children and adults with intellectual disability, autism or associated mental health difficulties
Evidence of commencement of CORU application
