We are continuing our journey of expanding and diversifying our business and we are now looking for an Internal Sales Support Executive to join our Steel Division in Tramore Road, Cork City, who will be responsible for managing and proactively developing long-term customer relationships. Your job will be to work closely with customers to ensure they get the maximum value out of the services and products they have purchased from us.
As an Internal Sales Support Executive you will be expected to be a team player and develop a strong relationship with the Sales teams as well as other critical functions in the business to ensure mutual success with our customers. We are looking for someone who is customer-centric, enthusiastic and has demonstrable experience of working in a similar role previously.
Responsibilities :
- Proactively engaging with our customers throughout their relationship with us to drive excellent customer experience and satisfaction
- Identifying Sales Opportunities
- Account management & repeat selling over the phone to an established customer base
- Drive retention and growth among our customers by understanding their business needs and helping them succeed
- Position yourself as the expert on our products and services through providing continuous support
- Work collaboratively with other internal teams and external sales representatives to get the best outcome for our clients
- Work closely with the client to resolve any issues they may have in an efficient and timely manner
- Monitor customer A/C balances and advise customers when balances are due
- Solving problems for our customers, helping them achieve their goals
- General administration and counter sales
- Recording relevant information on CRM system
Requirements :
- Experience in a similar B2B account management role
- Relationship building – the ability and willingness to build and develop productive relationships with external and internal customers
- Demonstrable experience of working proactively to help clients utilise the products and services they purchase
- Experience in working with and supporting external sales teams is desirable
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Presentation skills
- Ability to Multitask and prioritise accordingly
- Knowledge of working with an ERP system for order processing advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
