Steel fixer
We are seeking a skilled Steelfixer to join our team in Galway. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurate fitting and installation of steel reinforcement bars (rebar) in construction projects. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting structural drawings, cutting and bending steel as per specifications, and ensuring that all work meets industry standards for safety and quality.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Interpret and follow engineering drawings and specifications.
- Cut, bend, and place steel reinforcement bars as required.
- Assemble and secure steel frameworks using ties, clips, and other fasteners.
- Monitor and maintain safety standards on site.
- Collaborate effectively with other construction team members.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience as a Steelfixer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices and safety regulations.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
