The Opportunity We are looking for Specialist Pricing Intelligence EMEA to join our Regional Team in any Goodyear location in EMEA.
Key Contribution/Purpose of the position:
Create and develop new and maintain actual solutions (and associated information) to leverage the sell-in and sell-out pricing intelligence in Europe.
Provide insights & strategic/tactical recommendations to all relevant stakeholders to improve margins for Goodyear and its customers.
Partner with cross-functional and country pricing teams to enable the execution of the European pricing strategy
Promote the usage of PRIMA (Vendavo) environment to its full pricing potential for all the countries in Europe, through the correct deployment & usage of the Deal Manager, Price Manager and Profit Analyzer.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop, Implement and maintain a sustainable pricing intelligence tools, able to manage a significant volume of data
Perform sell-in and sell-out (both B2B and B2C) competitive price monitoring. develop, implement and maintain a meaningful set of pricing intelligence solutions.
Develop, implement and maintain models to forecast the impact of future pricing strategies
Provide strategic insights and recommendations on competitive price positioning to cross-functional teams, enable growth via smart pricing and create standards and improve the internal pricing analysis made throughout Europe
Promote the quality of Internal Pricing data throughout the region, enforce the correct use of price waterfall & architecture for all the PBU's and Distribution Channels (European List Price, Floor Definition, Invoice Prices, Net Sales and Pocket Prices)
To join our team you will need:
Education: Bachelor in Business, Economics, Finance or Statistics. Master in Business, Economics, Finance or Statistics is a plus
Languages: Fluency in English. French/German language skills are an asset.
Experience:
5-6 years of experience in working with data.
Good understanding of Sales and Marketing in the automotive Industry
Good understanding of pricing and forecast models - Experience in managing large amounts of data.
Marketing, sales or pricing experience is a plus
IT, Soft Skills & others:
Data driven, BI tools (Qlikview, Power BI, Tableau),
Advanced MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint) skills (Pivot, Macro etc),
good knowledge of SAP & EDW systems,
advanced analytical skills,
ability to communicate and create executive summaries, and
ability to work in teams in a highly dynamic and competitive environment.
Considered as plus:
Acquainted with statistical computer languages (R, Python, SLQ, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets and
Knowledge of statistical techniques and concepts (regressions, properties of distributions, statistical tests, etc....)
