Sales & Business Development Specialist

EDAC Ltd is dedicated to positively impacting how our clients manage their environmental compliance and social responsibility. Our primary goal is to enhance the quality of environmental asset and Health & Safety (H&S) management, ultimately improving the overall culture for our clients. We achieve this through our unique innovative software and the exceptional services provided by our experienced team.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Sales & Business development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our client base. You will work closely with our team to identify new business opportunities, build strong relationships with potential clients, and promote our innovative software and services.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential clients through various channels, including online research, networking events, and industry databases.
  • Cold Calling: Make outbound calls to prospective clients to introduce EDAC’s services, qualify leads, and schedule meetings.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify new business opportunities.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including lead generation, client interactions, and sales progress, in the CRM system.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to develop and implement strategies to attract and retain clients.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in sales, particularly in lead generation and cold calling - preferably within the environmental compliance or software industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with the environmental compliance industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
