Job Description: As a Sales Associate at Toymaster Cavan Toy and Nursery Store, you will play a key role in ensuring an outstanding shopping experience for our customers. You will be responsible for assisting customers with their inquiries, providing product information, and completing sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
2. Provide knowledgeable assistance on product features, benefits, and usage.
3. Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and arranging displays.
4. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
5. Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and returns in a professional and courteous manner.
6. Assist in receiving and unpacking merchandise shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper storage.
7. Stay informed about the latest toy and baby trends, promotions, and special offers to effectively promote products to customers.
8. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Qualifications:
1. Previous retail experience preferred, especially in a customer focused environment.
2. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
3. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
4. Basic math skills and proficiency in using point-of-sale systems.
5. Enthusiasm for toys and baby products, with a willingness to learn about new products and trends.
6. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
