The Role
As an
End User Computing/Site Support Engineer, you'll play a vital role in providing onsite support for desktop devices, troubleshooting network connectivity issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. Key responsibilities
- Establish and maintain excellent relationships with customer stakeholders, ensuring their IT needs are met effectively.
- Provide onsite analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop problems for end-users.
- Install, configure, test, maintain, and troubleshoot end-user and network hardware, peripheral devices, and software.
- Support Desk side issues per contract and serve as the point of contact for all IT-related issues at the site.
- Provide hardware break/fix support and warranty support for desktop, laptop, tablets, and workstations.
- Administer and resolve issues with associated end-user workstation network software products.
- Configure new users to the domain and set up new computers/laptops.
- Maintain the IT ticketing system and analyze Service Desk calls for desktop devices.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues in LAN/WAN environments.
- Assist with securing the network by setting up and maintaining antivirus and applying software security updates.
Your Profile
Key skills/knowledge/experience:
- Hands-on experience in managing i OS phone/tablet devices.
- Proficiency in VMware Air Watch/Workspace One/Intune/Jamf/ABM administration and support.
- Familiarity with O365 products.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to provide support for desk-side issues and act as the primary point of contact for IT-related concerns.
- Experience in diagnosing and resolving complex desktop problems for end-users.
- Proficiency in installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining end-user and network hardware, peripheral devices, and software.
- Knowledge of hardware break/fix procedures and warranty support for desktop, laptop, tablets, and workstations.
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and experience in analyzing Service Desk calls for desktop devices using SNOW.
- Troubleshooting skills for network connectivity issues in LAN/WAN environments.
Good to have:
- Familiarity with software deployment and patch management tools.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
- Understanding of network security principles and experience in implementing software security updates.
