Site Engineer Required for a Large Residential Development - Drogheda
Your new company
Your new company is a well established building contractor operating across the Commercial and Residential sectors. With a strong commitment to innovation and excellence, they pride themselves on fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
They currently have in Drogheda and are now seeking a Site Engineer to join the team with the current project to run for the next 2 - 3 years.
Your new role
You will be responsible for controlling, reviewing, delivering, maintaining, fulfilling various tasks such as reviewing drawings, safety precautions, environmental procedures that will be needed to complete within the timeline, budget and requirements of the senior and site managers who you will be reporting to. Below are the duties and responsibilities that must be fulfilled:

• Ensure accurate setting out and levelling of the works in accordance with drawings/ specifications.
• Ensure all drawings and information relating to your area of work are accurate and up to date.
• Review Architect/Engineer/Services/Sub-Contractor drawings to ensure co-ordination and integration.
• Ensure quality control and testing of work and materials is carried out in accordance with the specification requirements.
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with the Construction Programme
• Carry out check on works prior to and following any concrete pours.
• Acting as the main technical advisor, direct and supervise day to day operations of sub-contractors when required, resolving any technical issues that may arise.
• Liaising with local authorities as appropriate to ensure compliance with local construction regulations.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of own activity related to projects on Gateway to enable traceability.
• Establish, maintain and build good relations with clients and liaise with project team and sub- contractors to ensure they do likewise.

Requirements

• Bachelors in Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 3 Years relevant experience as Site Engineer
• Understanding of the construction processes
• Experience in Auto CAD and relevant technical knowledge.
• Sound knowledge of construction methods, health and safety and legal regulations
• Ability to create and maintain good working relationships
