We are currently recruiting for a Production Supervisor in our busy food distribution company based in Dublin 11. Experience working in a warehouse environment is essential. A good work ethic, excellent time keeping & reliability are all crucial.
Role and Responsibilities:

• Provide the production team with leadership, direction, training and coaching to achieve work objectives and to improve performance and skills.
• Resolves personnel, mechanical operational and resource-related issues that arise during shift so that individual and team productivity are not affected.
• Actively seeks opportunities for continued improvement in production area/recommends improvements.
• Creation and issuing of rosters and annual leave requests.
• Be the ambassador of Health & Safety and Food & Safety policies in the production area (including hygiene and clean as you go policy)
• Administration and paperwork requirements associated with the function of the production line in real time
• Comply with quality systems and standards, procedures, SOPs to provide safe, legal and high-quality produce, and to meet our responsibilities to our clients

Skills/ Attributes/ Experience:

• Experience in the FMCG food industry would be an advantage
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Self-starter with the capability to show drive and resilience to take initiative in a demanding environment.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with strong attention to detail.
• Team-player with cross functional collaboration.
• Experience operating forklifts/pallet trucks in compliance with Health & Safety Regulations.

Licence/Certification:

• Forklift licence, PPT licence (preferred)
