Key Responsibilities:
Plan and schedule production to meet targets.
Optimize processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams for smooth operations.
Ensure products meet quality standards and industry regulations.
Perform inspections, identify issues, and implement quick solutions.
Lead and support the production team, offering training and development.
Conduct performance reviews, providing feedback for improvement.
Promote safety and ensure compliance with health and safety rules.
Lead safety drills and training sessions.
Use lean principles to optimize processes.
Analyze data to drive continuous improvements.
Monitor inventory and coordinate with Supply Chain for material availability.
Manage resources to reduce waste and control costs.
Qualifications & Experience:
3-5 years’ experience in a food manufacturing environment.
Experience managing or supervising a production team.
Preferred Skills: Experience with manufacturing equipment, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Flexibility is required for evening and weekend shifts depending on seasonal conditions.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in production management software.
In-depth knowledge of health, safety and food industry regulations.
