Production Chemist
Company Background:
TE Laboratories (Tel Lab) are a science-based SME located in Tullow Co Carlow. The company operates a number of divisions which includes a number of accredited laboratories, chemical manufacture, environmental sensors, consultancy, training, events and an active R&D division.
Specialties:
Environmental and Drinking water analysis, Lubricating and Transformer Oil analysis, Fuel analysis, Marker Dye Production, Custom Laboratory analysis, Laboratory Chemicals and Reagents, Environmental Research and Development, FP7, H2020 and other International Collaborative projects.
Role Overview:
TE Laboratories are now seeking an adaptable Production Chemist to join their Production Department. The Production Laboratory is accredited to ISO 9001 Quality Standard. Opportunities in the area of product development and Quality Control tests such as Flame AAS and IC will also be given to the appropriate candidate. The reagents are manufactured to USP, EP and BP specification.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Manufacture & assay of a range of a range of volumetric solutions, buffers and standards at bulk and bench top, batch sizes for both the Irish and Export market.
· Coordinate, prioritise and plan lab tasks to meet deadlines.
· Work with supervisor to set objectives and milestones.
· Ad-hoc duties as required.
Qualifications/ Experience:
· 3rd level qualification in Chemistry is essential.
· Previous experience working in a Laboratory environment is desirable.

· Excellent communication, both written and oral.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Strong work ethic.
· Excellent attention to detail.
