As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Hose Service Centre Technician to join our dynamic aftermarket team at our hose service centre in Dundalk, Ireland.
Role Overview:
As a Hose Service Centre Technician, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for providing best in class customer service and efficiently handling a variety of tasks at our service centre. From engaging with customers at the trade counter to performing hose assembly and in-store duties, your role will be diverse and rewarding.
Full Training will be provided upon enrolling

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Safety First: Prioritize safety by strictly adhering to all health and safety guidelines, ensuring a secure work environment for yourself, your colleagues, and our customers.

Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of Hydroscand's extensive product range, allowing you to confidently assist customers at the trade counter and provide expert advice over the phone.

Customer Interaction: Engage with customers professionally, actively listening to their requirements, and offering effective solutions to meet their needs.

Hose Assembly: Utilize your technical skills to reproduce damaged hoses through reverse engineering, ensuring our customers receive high-quality replacements.

Quotations and Documentation: Prepare accurate and timely quotations for customers and efficiently handle product invoices, shipping documentation, and bookings for couriers and freight forwarders.

Stock Management: Play a vital role in maintaining optimal stock levels by conducting cycle counts and effectively managing inventory.

Hands-on Production: Contribute to the production line by picking and packing products, ensuring timely order fulfillment.

Store Maintenance: Keep the service centre tidy and organized through regular housekeeping, creating a pleasant and efficient work environment.

Team Player: Collaborate effectively with your colleagues and assist the store manager with any necessary duties.

Requirements:

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members.

Customer Focus: Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to build and nurture lasting relationships.

Reliability and Flexibility: Display reliability in meeting job responsibilities and a willingness to adapt to a dynamic work environment.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all tasks performed.

IT Proficiency: Comfortable working with computers and proficient in using the MS Office suite.

Hands-On Approach: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with hands-on tasks; this role involves practical work.

Calm under Pressure: Maintain a composed and logical approach, even during high-pressure situations.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am – 4:45 pm
Friday: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm
Every second Friday: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Every second Saturday: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Please note that working hours may change with one week's notice, and weekend work is compulsory, not optional.

Salary:

Hourly Rate: €13.50 (Overtime paid at x1.5)
