DEB Exams are the largest provider of mock exams to second level schools in Ireland. We have an exciting new opportunity for a Customer Service Administrator. Role: Customer Service Administrator Reporting to: Customer Service Manager Contract: Permanent, Full-time role with term time hours Hours per week: Monday-Friday Location: Exam Centre, Unit 3-4, Fonthill Business Park, Fonthill Road, Dublin 22 This position will join an already existing customer service team of four. It will report to the Customer Service Manager for day to day activities and direction. In this role you will be providing multi-channel support to our customers using phone and email. The role of a Customer Service Representative is about supporting our customers while building long-term relationships. This is pivotal to providing the high-level service that the company is known for. You will process orders, maintain customer data, capture and handle customer enquiries/queries/complaints in an efficient manner, in addition to any other tasks deemed suitable to the role. The ideal candidate will have customer service experience and be a proactive individual who is willing to work hard and support a customer service function. The successful candidate will carry out the following duties in line with DEB’s standards and strategic objectives.
Build and maintain positive relations with schools and school personnel and record account information via phone calls and emails
Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits, and follow up to ensure resolution
Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
Work with customer service team to ensure proper customer service is being delivered of orders and queries regarding these orders
Effectively communicate with other departments within the company to ensure the customer satisfaction with product

Ability to be methodical, flexible and capable of undertaking multitask driven work
Excellent attention to detail
Strong IT skills and any experience with the implementation of new technologies desirable
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Have significant level of customer service or clerical experience
