CSA Project Manager - Data Centre - Frankfurt

Your New Company:
Your new organisation is a construction main contractor that specialise in planning, contracting and data centre services, across Ireland and Central Europe.

Your New Role:
Your new role as a Project Manager is to be based on a data centre in Frankfurt, for construction and internal fitout services. You will have a strong project team in place to support along the project programme. You will oversee the smooth transition of construction and fitout works within this phase of the project. You will operate on a standard European rotation package (this is flexible and negotiable, more information below).
As a member of the project management team, you have the opportunity to influence safety culture onsite by demonstrating personal commitment, setting clear expectations, and effectively communicating safety policies. By consistently modelling safe behaviour, prioritising safety above productivity, and ensuring that all workers receive proper training and resources, you can foster an environment where safety is ingrained in every aspect of the construction process. Encouraging open communication, recognising and rewarding safe behaviour, and conducting regular inspections further reinforce the importance of safety. By taking these steps, you can help create a culture where safety is a shared value and a top priority for all stakeholders involved in the project.
Selection of Duties:
  • Agreeing project objectives in the areas of timely delivery, cost, quality and client satisfaction
  • Representing the interests of the client and contracting organisation.
  • Responsible for the successful delivery of project through leadership, management, technical and engineering expertise throughout the lifecycle of the project
  • Providing advice on the management of projects
  • Monitoring the workflow of sub-contractors ensuring guidelines are maintained
  • Monitor construction to ensure quality of workmanship and materials
  • Carrying out risk assessments
  • Work to resolve critical site issues
  • Co-ordinate project activities in accordance with company Quality System, Standard Quality Procedures and Engineering Specifications
  • Ensure Design Team provide required information on time
  • Using IT systems to keep track of people and progress
What You'll Need to Succeed:
  • Degree / Higher Diploma qualification in an Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent discipline
  • 5+ years post-qualification experience with main construction contractors, on complex build projects.
  • Excellent working knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards
  • Project Management experince on internal works within a controlled environment is highly sought after
In Return:
A benefits package is important, especially when it comes to working abroad.
The organisation recognise this and do offer a strong payment package for the services provided for this role. The finer European package details are to be confirmed but would include your standard, accommodation / site connecting travel / flights and rotational basis, typically every 2 weeks but flexiblity is also available here / weekly/daily living allowances. This is all covered on top of a strong base salary, this in the region of €90,000 to €105,000 depending on your level of experince and suitability to the role. Company pension is also offered on top of the above benefit package.
