Our head office based in Kilkenny houses the Pharmaceutical Wholesale Department, allowing us to pass on competitive prices to our customers, thereby enchancing our ‘value for money ‘ ethos.
Chemco Pharmacy are now recruiting for a Cleaner to work part time across 4 sites within a 5 km radius of Kilkenny city. The role requires working approximately 20 hours per week including Saturdays. (4 days per week).
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Cleaning areas like reception, offices, domestic dwelling, board room and kitchen.
Dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and cleaning smudges off windows and doors.
Clean out fridge and dishwasher in canteen area.
Ensuring restrooms are cleaned, sanitized, and restocked.
Collect and remove rubbish and waste material to authorised disposal points
Take responsibility for the safe use of all cleaning materials and equipment used in the course of your duties.
To work in a safe manner for the benefit of oneself and other occupants of the building.
Report defects, deficiencies or health and safety related issues with minimum delay.

Key Requirements:

Previous experience as a Cleaner is desirable.
Good attention to detail required.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Understand safe working practices and health and safety legislation.
Ability to work on own while maintaining loyalty and honesty.
Well-organised and capable of prioritising own work.

· Be flexible in this position and be prepared to undertake such other work as may be assigned to you by the company from time to time. Such work can be outside the area of your normal duties.
· Full clean driving licence.
