You will need to be friendly and customer-focused, able to complete multiple jobs a day.

Type of jobs you will be working on:
Small Domestic jobs can be anywhere from 1 hour to 5 days in length. They can be as small as adding a socket to someone's home to replacing an office building lighting.
Full House Rewires or Wiring New Houses
You will frequently deal with domestic clients, builders, project managers, as a representative of our company, so a strong commitment to customer experience and a can-do attitude is essential. Problem-solving skills are vital.
The successful candidate will need:

• To take control and run jobs from start to finish. (H&S, materials needed, manage timelines to ensure you complete jobs on time).
• Work with managers and assist in training apprentices.
• Work by yourself with limited information making decisions to ensure a job gets completed safely to the highest standard.
• Report to the management team with regards to all aspects of the job.
• Carry out excellent customer care and represent the company in a professional manner.

Job Duties

• Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical installations while observing all statutory and legal requirements.
• Running tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation.
• Inspect electrical systems and equipment for damage, malfunction, and safety hazards.
• Fault finding, diagnosis and repair.
• Providing professional assessments and advice for customers through Periodic Inspection Reports.
• Review maintenance work orders and ensure all requirements/preparations are fully undertaken before commencing work.
• Managing peers, dividing job tasks and/or working as a team when necessary.
• Ensuring all accidents, incidents, near misses and non-conformances are fully reported.

Requirements

• Have all qualifications and certs.
• Up to date Safe Pass and Manual Handling.
• QC number would be a benefit
• Own hand tools.
• 5+ years of experience (Preferred).
• Full Clean Class B Drivers Licence.
• At least 2 work References.
• Day starts at 7:30 am.
