About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and driven Bid Coordinator to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the quality and success of the company’s bids. Working closely with the Commercial Manager, you will contribute to the end-to-end bid process from initial assessment to final submission. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as this role will involve collaborating with various teams and stakeholders to produce compelling, timely bids that align with the company's goals. You will assist the Commercial Manager in gathering valuable feedback to continually enhance our tendering and private sector pitch processes.
The successful candidate will ideally have a strong background in architecture or engineering must thrive in a fast-paced environment, have exceptional organisational abilities, and exhibit strong attention to detail to ensure the highest quality in all company bids.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and lead the bid management processes within the company.
  • Manage the tender process, including identification, approvals, completion of Statements of Assurance and Qualifications (SAQs), pre-qualification documents, and quality and commercial submissions.
  • Lead the production of tenders for submission to VDA clients, ensuring all deadlines are met.· Track opportunities on tender portals, such as e Tenders.
  • Produce and continuously improve tender proposals, brochures, qualification documents, and presentation materials.
  • Support the company’s marketing strategy, including contributing to the company's social media accounts and the company website.
Skills & Experiences Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience, preferably in an architectural, engineering or construction environment.
  • Experience in completing public sector tenders is highly beneficial.· Excellent communication, management, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using bid management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Experience in organising and delivering complex tasks involving multiple parties within tight deadlines.
