Noel Group is looking for a hands-on Doughnut Bakery Manager who shares our clients passion and has the skills to lead their bakery to even greater success. As the bakery manager, you'll not only manage the day-to-day operations of our bakery but also work directly on the floor, getting your hands into the dough. You will oversee a dedicated team, ensure the highest quality of our products, and maintain a smooth-running operation. Your expertise in kneading dough, working with yeast, and people management will be essential in this role.
Responsibilities:

Work directly in the bakery, kneading dough, working with yeast, and ensuring the quality of each batch of doughnuts.
Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of bakers and staff, ensuring a productive and positive working environment.
Oversee the entire doughnut-making process, from dough preparation to frying and glazing, ensuring consistency and quality.
Schedule staff shifts, manage performance, and provide ongoing training to develop the team's skills.
Monitor ingredient levels, place orders, and manage inventory to minimize waste while ensuring the bakery is always well-stocked.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all food safety and health regulations.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a bakery or similar role, with strong skills in kneading dough and working with yeast.
Solid background in people management, with the ability to lead and develop a team.
Passion for baking and a commitment to producing high-quality doughnuts.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
