1. Supplier Sourcing and Evaluation:
Identify and source new suppliers through comprehensive Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes to ensure a diverse and reliable supply chain.
2. Client and Supplier Liaison:
Serve as the primary point of contact between clients/buyers and suppliers, ensuring smooth communication and the successful execution of contracts in line with client requirements.
3. Dispute Resolution:
Address and resolve any commercial, financial, or timeline disputes with suppliers, ensuring issues are handled swiftly to prevent delays or disruptions.
4. Supplier Performance Management:
Continuously monitor supplier performance through systematic rating and assessment, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
5. Supplier Comparison and Cost Analysis:
Regularly compare potential and existing suppliers to evaluate cost, quality, delivery times, and other factors, ensuring the most competitive sourcing options for the company.
6. Negotiation and Annual Reviews:
Lead supplier negotiations, including pricing and contract terms, and conduct annual performance reviews to maintain strong partnerships and drive continuous improvement.
7. Sustainability and Compliance Monitoring:
Ensure that all sourced products adhere to sustainability, ethical sourcing practices, and industry compliance standards, in line with both company values and client expectations.
8. Reporting and Analysis:
Provide regular performance and sourcing updates to management, including detailed reports on supplier performance, cost analysis, and market trends.
9. Factory Visits and Audits:
Conduct regular on-site factory visits to assess production processes, ensure compliance with quality standards, and strengthen supplier relationships.
