Booking and Reservation Management: Manage incoming reservations, whether by phone, email, or booking systems, ensuring accuracy in guest or client details.
Customer Service: Address customer inquiries, provide information on availability, pricing, or accommodations, and resolve issues or complaints regarding reservations.
Coordination: Coordinate with other departments like sales & housekeeping to ensure smooth guest or passenger experiences.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of bookings, cancellations, and changes in the reservation system.
Payment Processing: Handle payments or deposits related to bookings, ensuring proper financial records.
Promotions: Inform customers about available promotions, packages, or discounts.
Qualifications: Education: A high school diploma or a degree in hospitality, tourism, or a related field. Experience: 2+ years experience in a customer service or reservations role, especially within hospitality or travel industries, is often preferred. Skills:
Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
Familiarity with reservation apps (Airbnb, Ticket.com, etc)
Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
