We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Dev Ops Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates with a passion for cloud technologies, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. The successful candidate will work closely with senior team members to support and improve our infrastructure and deployment processes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and maintaining Linux-based systems and cloud infrastructure
- Help implement and maintain containerization solutions using Docker
- Support the deployment and management of applications on Kubernetes clusters
- Assist in managing and optimizing AWS cloud resources and services
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines
- Help monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Assist in database administration tasks and optimizations
- Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems
- Collaborate with development teams to improve application deployment and scalability
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Basic understanding of Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces
- Familiarity with containerization technologies, particularly Docker
- Knowledge of container orchestration platforms, especially Kubernetes
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and AWS - services
- Familiarity with database systems (e.g., My SQL, Postgre SQL, Mongo DB)
- Basic scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or Power Shell)
- Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack)
- Knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet)
- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols
- Experience with any CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Git Hub Actions)
