Furniture Product Development Manager
Activities and responsibilities :
Leading Tikamoon Product Engineering teams in Southeast Asia on the following activities:
> Product development projects to meet initial specifications and deadlines from Head Office (Avg. 300 products yearly)
> Ensure product compliance and safety based on the regulations and norms in force in the different Tikamoon markets (EU, UK, USA, CH...)
> Ensure product compliance as per Tikamoon CSR strategy and Quality standards
> Driving the collect of data to contribute to design-to-cost, life-cycle analysis and Eco-design initiatives
> Ensure continuous product improvement
> Assess the performance of our suppliers from a quality/technical perspective by auditing them
> Set objectives with our suppliers and implement medium/long-term improvement action plans to meet these targets
> Report regularly on the KPIs set by the Head Office
Skills required:
> Have minimum 5 years' experience as a Product Development Manager in the furniture industry is a must
> Excellent technical skills in woodworking and packaging design
> Team Management skills
> Good Knowledge of Solidworks
> Excellent verbal communication skills in English
> French speaking is an asset.
