US Accounts Associate

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Accountant with expertise in US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards, and effectively utilizing accounting software.
Responsibilities:
● Maintain and reconcile financial records in accordance with US GAAP standards.
● Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
● Ensure accurate recording and classification of financial transactions.
● Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
● Perform regular audits to identify discrepancies and ensure financial accuracy.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting and analysis.
● Utilize accounting software for efficient data management and reporting.
● Stay updated on changes to US GAAP standards and accounting regulations.
● Provide support during external audits and regulatory inspections.
● Contribute to process improvements and optimization of accounting procedures.
Requirements:
● Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
● Proven experience working with US GAAP standards of 2 to 4 years
● Proficiency in any accounting software. Knowledge of Net Suite and Quick Books would be an advantage.
● Quick Books Online (QBO) certification is preferred.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
● Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
