Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tender Executive with expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in preparing, submitting, and managing tender documents and proposals, ensuring that our GIS-related projects align with client requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Tender Preparation: Lead the preparation of tender submissions, ensuring compliance with client specifications and industry standards, particularly in projects involving GIS technologies.
Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis of tender requirements, industry trends, and competitive landscape to develop compelling proposals that highlight our GIS capabilities.
Collaboration: Work closely with technical teams, project managers, and subject matter experts to gather relevant information and insights for tender documents.
Documentation Management: Maintain an organized database of past tender submissions and related documentation, ensuring easy access for future references and audits.
Client Liaison: Communicate with clients to clarify requirements and address any questions or concerns regarding tender submissions.
Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure that all tender documents are completed accurately and submitted on time, adhering to all regulatory and quality standards.
Post-Tender Activities: Assist in post-tender evaluations and debriefings, analyzing outcomes to improve future tender submissions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Business Administration, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in tender management or proposal writing, preferably in industries that utilize GIS technology (e.g., urban planning, engineering, environmental consulting).
Strong knowledge of GIS software and applications (e.g., Arc GIS, QGIS).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with procurement processes and regulations is a plus.
