Surveyor
The primary duty of a Surveyor in the Construction industry is to conduct thorough site surveys to establish baseline information. This involves the use of advanced technological tools like GPS, drones, and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) to map out land features and existing infrastructures.
Job Description:
1. Conducting land surveys to determine precise measurements of project areas.
2. Preparing and maintaining sketches, maps, and reports regarding surveys.
3. Calculating land volumes, areas, and markers necessary for construction boundaries.
4. Collaborating with engineers, architects, and construction managers to provide data relevant to the design and implementation of projects.
5. Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws in the execution of surveying tasks.
Educational Qualification:
1. A bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. Experience 8-10 Years
3. Advanced certifications or additional coursework in areas specific to the Construction industry may be highly beneficial.
4. Significant experience with CAD software and strong mathematical and analytical skills.
