Essential Qualification Bachelor Degree and Qualified squash coach with at-least WSF Level1/2 or higher Experience Range (Yrs.) 4 - 5 years or more Roles & Responsibilities
Evaluating performance and providing suitable feedback, balancing criticism with positivity and motivation Assessing strengths and weaknesses in a participant's performance and identifying areas for further development Adapting to the needs and interests of group or individual participants Demonstrating an activity by breaking the task down into a sequence Encouraging participants to gain and develop skills, knowledge and techniques, enhancing the positive culture of sports Ensuring that participants train and perform to a high standard of health and safety at all times Developing knowledge and understanding of fitness, injury, sports psychology, nutrition and sports science Working with IT-based resources to monitor and measure performance Acting as a role model, gaining the respect and trust of the people you work with Working to a high legal and ethical standard at all times, particularly in relation to issues such as student safeguarding, health and safety requirements. Producing personalised training programmes (Recreational, Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced and Competitive players) Maintaining records of participant performance Maintaining & submitting post tournament reports with in stipulated time Coordinating and maintaining the record of participants' attendance Planning and running programmes of activities for groups and individuals on campus including residents Tournament identification and participation as per the level of the players (Friendlies, Leagues, Club, District, State, National or International). Preparing all related budget and approvals well in advance for any internal or external participation (equipment, facility management, AMC’s, tournaments etc.) Identify & recruit talented players to high performance sports scholarship program Prepare and plan a well executed program for the development of sports scholarship students (daily, weekly, monthly & yearly) Other Specification: A key player who will not only motivate but will also make entire community aware towards health and fitness. An individual who understands the need of students and can help them to de-stress their day to day life. A multitasker who will also contribute to the growth of a healthy team, department and the university.
