Title- Service Now SME/Service Now Expert Location- Hyderabad Job model – Hybrid
Key Areas of accountability/responsibility
Act as a functional expert in the technical definition of new IT and business processes and in their implementation & maintainability for all service delivery unit (SDU) in GES – “Global enterprise services”: IT, HR, Finance, Purchasing and various other custom applications
Instill Service Now platform best practices for all subscribed solution packages. Advice on greater usage of existing licensed capabilities to deliver added value to the business.
Collaborate closely with the third-party platform support team, and cross-check the quality of their development work and the maintenance of the platform.
Participate in enterprise service management (ESM) projects and collaborate with other SM process owners and managers to develop processes in other areas of service management.
Control and maintain the stability and security of the platform, and look for opportunities to improve their effectiveness and efficiency by influencing behavior and driving change.
Support insights into end-to-end performance, monitoring, analysis, and reporting on SM processes.
Participate in platform audits, report findings and improvements, and maintain an overview of the status of these findings.
Ensure knowledge is identified, created, maintained, and published and review the knowledge on process and quality aspects.
You Bring
Technical expert in Service Now with a broad understanding of the platform and its capabilities, in various SN offerings in ITSM and other products (e.g. Finance, Purchasing, HR, automation, integrations, virtual agent, employee center)
Proven skills (Service Now certifications), minimum 10 years of experience in this field. Understanding of best practices to keep the platform maintainable and easily upgradable.
ITIL V3 or ITIL4 Foundation, a Practitioner certification is a plus.
Experience interacting with all levels of management, customer-oriented and team player, but able to work independently.
Able to collaborate across multiple stakeholders, departments, and countries, working in a global and multicultural organization.
Good analytical skills, ability to evaluate data trends, drive for continuous proactive improvement and Able to operate effectively in a matrix organization by overcoming silo thinking, see the big picture.
