The Service Technician will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain solar PV systems.

Job Overview:
The Service Technician will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain solar PV systems.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in solar and electrical systems, a proactive problem-solving approach, and a focus on delivering high-quality service to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on installed solar PV systems, including inverters, batteries, and panels.
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and resolve issues related to solar power systems, such as electrical, mechanical, or software malfunctions.
- Testing and Commissioning: Test and commission solar PV systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with design specifications.
- Customer Support: Provide technical support to customers, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of service visits, issues identified, and repairs conducted, ensuring all service reports are complete and accurate.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all work complies with industry safety standards and company protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering and project teams to address any installation defects or operational issues and provide feedback on improving system designs.
- Spare Parts Management: Monitor and manage inventory of spare parts and equipment required for service operations.
- Training: Educate customers on basic system maintenance, troubleshooting techniques, and safety practices.
- ITI Electrical degree or Electrical Engineering diploma.
- 1 - 2 years experience in solar PV or electrical systems maintenance.
- Experience with on-grid/off-grid systems preferred.
- Valid driver’s license; willing to travel.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, inverters, batteries, solar panels.
- Proficient with diagnostic tools, multimeters, and PV software.
- Familiar with industry standards and safety protocols.
- Ability to travel and commute freely.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Hands-on experience with wiring and fault troubleshooting.

- Day shift
- total work: 1 year (Preferred)
