Service Advisor

  • Customer Interaction: Greet customers as they arrive and assess their service needs. Provide information about services, repairs, and maintenance options.
  • Service Coordination: Schedule appointments and manage service timelines, ensuring that customer expectations are met regarding service completion.
  • Estimates and Quotes: Prepare and present detailed estimates for services and repairs, including parts and labor costs.
  • Problem Diagnosis: Listen to customer concerns and communicate these to technicians, helping to clarify and prioritize issues.
  • Follow-Up: Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle/service, including any changes to the initial estimate or timeline.
  • Customer Education: Educate customers on recommended services and maintenance to help them understand their vehicle’s needs.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, services performed, and any follow-up actions required.
  • Conflict Resolution: Address customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally, striving to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Support: Promote service specials and upsell additional services or products that may benefit the customer.
Skills:
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • Customer Service Orientation: A friendly and approachable demeanor with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
  • Technical Knowledge: A basic understanding of automotive systems and repairs is often beneficial.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, appointments, and customer inquiries efficiently.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to address customer concerns and provide effective solutions.
  • Sales Skills: Ability to promote services and products effectively while maintaining customer trust.
Qualifications:
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required; some positions may prefer or require post-secondary education in automotive technology or business.
  • Experience: Previous experience in customer service or a related field is often preferred. Experience in the automotive industry can be a significant advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
