Project Role : Scrum Master
Project Role Description : Acts as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Coaches and mentors the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics.

Summary: As a Scrum Master, you will act as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. You will coach and mentor the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Your typical day will involve facilitating scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. You will also identify and report progress via appropriate metrics, ensuring the smooth execution of projects. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Ensure effective implementation of Agile methodologies within the software development team. - Coach and mentor the Scrum Team(s) to ensure successful project execution. - Facilitate scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. - Identify and report progress via appropriate metrics. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with project goals. - Remove barriers and obstacles that hinder the team's progress. - Promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team. - Ensure adherence to Agile principles and best practices. - Provide guidance and support to team members on Agile methodologies and practices. - Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between team members and stakeholders. - Monitor and track project progress, ensuring timely delivery of milestones. - Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery. - Promote a positive and productive work environment within the team. - Contribute to the development and improvement of Agile processes and frameworks. - Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in Agile methodologies. - Continuously enhance your own knowledge and skills in Agile Project Management. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Agile Project Management. - Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks. - Experience in coaching and mentoring Scrum Teams. - Ability to facilitate scrum and agile ceremonies effectively. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira or Trello. - Knowledge of other Agile methodologies such as Kanban or Lean. - Certification in Agile Project Management (e.g., Certified Scrum Master). Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in Agile Project Management. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
