Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
Administering medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
Monitoring patients' vital signs and responding to changes in their condition.
Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families.
Documentation:Maintaining accurate and complete patient records.
Recording patient progress, medications administered, and any changes in their condition.
Ensuring compliance with hospital policies and protocols.
Collaboration:Collaborating with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care plans.
Communicating effectively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
Patient Advocacy:Advocating for patients' rights and ensuring their needs are met.
Assisting in addressing any patient concerns or complaints.
Infection Control:Adhering to infection control practices and protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment.
