Receptionist

A receptionist in a construction company plays a crucial role in managing front-office operations and ensuring smooth communication between clients, employees, and management.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Front Desk Management:
  • Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and employees.
  • Manage the front desk area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and other communications, directing them to the appropriate departments or individuals.
  • Visitor Coordination:
  • Maintain a visitor log and issue visitor passes.
  • Coordinate with site security for visitor access.
  • Provide necessary safety instructions to visitors if required.
  • Administrative Support:
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, conference rooms, and appointments.
  • Manage office supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Prepare and maintain records, reports, and correspondence.
  • Communication Management:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for inquiries, providing information or directing them as needed.
  • Liaise with other departments to coordinate internal communications.
  • Document Handling:
  • Receive and distribute mail, courier packages, and other deliveries.
  • Assist in the preparation of documents, including letters, memos, and reports.
  • Data Entry and Record Keeping:
  • Enter data into company databases, including visitor logs, staff attendance, and other relevant records.
  • Maintain and update employee contact lists.
  • Customer Service:
  • Address client and visitor queries with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Provide information about the company’s projects and services.
  • Support to HR and Management:
  • Assist the HR department with scheduling interviews and onboarding new employees.
  • Provide general administrative support to management as needed.
Experience:
Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of basic office equipment (printers, scanners, etc.).

  • Punctual and reliable.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
