Job Description:
RCMS Configuration Associate
Responsibilities for the RCMS Configuration Associate
- Responsible for setup, enrollment, and maintenance of EDI clearinghouse integrations for multiple software EHR and RCMS services customers
- Work with Config team and Account Manager to manage initial access, enrollment, mapping and transition of EDI
- Work on problems of minimal scope which are often varied and routine
- Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
- Apply learned techniques and contribute to analysis and investigation to solve problems
- Normally receives instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments
- Work in tandem with other staff on configuration updates
- Support the RCMS EDI enrollment configurations for multiple EHR platforms and clearinghouses
- Resolve client inquiries, maintaining ownership through resolution
Qualifications of the RCMS Configuration Associate
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience using EHR applications for medical billing, or Behavioral Healthcare billing
- Basic understanding of at least one Qualifacts software platform
- Basic understanding of Clearinghouse EDI relationships
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities of the RCMS Configuration Associate
- Knowledge of EHR applications implementation principles and practices
- Comprehensive understanding of functionalities in software
- Ability to synthesize knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management systems and billing practices to collaboratively plan and carry out configuration updates
