RCMS Billing Associate III
Job Description:
- Responsibilities:
- Oversee the charge entry process to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Investigate and resolve complex billing discrepancies and coding issues.
- Lead payer calls for high-level billing inquiries, negotiations, and dispute resolutions.
- Collaborate with coding, clinical, and revenue cycle teams to optimize charge capture processes.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve charge entry accuracy and timeliness.
- Train and mentor junior associates on advanced billing procedures and payer communication.
- Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for revenue optimization and process improvement.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on billing regulations and compliance standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in medical billing or revenue cycle management.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare billing regulations and coding systems.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Ability to drive change and implement process improvements effectively.
