JOB DESCRIPTION: Product Approval Process Management:
Oversee the process of obtaining approvals for products to be promoted in commercial building projects.
Liaise with regulatory bodies, certification agencies, and relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and regulations.
Technical Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of the technical specifications, applications, and performance characteristics of the products or materials being marketed.
Provide technical support and guidance to clients, architects, engineers, and contractors during the approval process and throughout the project lifecycle.
Client Engagement:
Identify and engage with key decision-makers within commercial real estate firms, property management companies, developers, and architectural firms.
Present product specifications, performance data, and benefits to clients, addressing their specific project requirements and concerns.
Relationship Building:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with architects, engineers, specifiers, and other influencers involved in the product selection process.
Collaborate with industry associations, trade organizations, and professional networks to increase brand visibility and credibility within the commercial building segment.
Sales Strategy Development:
Develop and implement a strategic sales plan focused on driving product approvals and increasing sales within the commercial building sector.
Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive positioning strategies to differentiate products and maximize revenue potential.
Proposal Preparation:
Prepare and submit proposals, bids, and technical documentation to clients, highlighting the benefits and value proposition of approved products.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate response to client inquiries and requests for information.
Contract Negotiation:
Techno Commercial Negotiation of pricing, terms, and contractual agreements with clients to secure profitable sales contracts.
Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Sales Reporting and Forecasting:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including product approvals, pipeline management, sales forecasts, and performance metrics.
Provide regular reports and updates to management on sales progress, market trends, and competitive developments.
Continuous Learning:
Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes affecting the commercial building segment.
Participate in training programs, seminars, and industry events to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Travel:
Be willing to travel to meet with clients, attend trade shows, industry conferences, and project sites as required.
This role requires a combination of technical expertise, sales acumen, and relationship-building skills to drive product approvals and sales within the commercial building segment effectively.
