Project Coordinator - Solar Sector
Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our solar energy projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and completion of solar projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and various stakeholders to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of solar installations.
Key Responsibilities:
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
Expected hours: 15 – 45 per week

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our solar energy projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and completion of solar projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and various stakeholders to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of solar installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in developing project plans, timelines, and milestones.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including schedules, budgets, reports, and contracts.
- Coordinate site assessments, installations, and commissioning of solar systems.
- Communicate with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and clear project goals.
- Monitor project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and industry guidelines.
- Assist in budget management by tracking expenses, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Facilitate team meetings, preparing agendas, minutes, and following up on action items.
- Ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support in maintaining up-to-date knowledge of solar industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or in a similar role, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Understanding of solar energy technologies, systems, and project processes.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage relationships with diverse teams and clients.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, or equivalent).
- Basic financial literacy and the ability to manage budgets.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
- Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
- Familiarity with grid connection processes and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with energy storage and hybrid systems.
