Job Title: Vocational Coordinator Department: Vocational Education Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: The Vocational coordinator is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing the entire vocational education program within the state. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in email communication, monitoring of schools, handling MIS data, coordination with stakeholders, documentation, curriculum planning, and student placement. Key Responsibilities Area: Communication and Reporting: Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write effective emails. Ensure clear and regular communication with schools, government offices, Co Ordinator’s, trainers and the company's head office. School Monitoring and Data Management: Conduct regular visits to schools to monitor the quality and progress of vocational training programs. Manage and maintain Management Information System (MIS) data for all participating schools. Use MIS data to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and ensure data accuracy. Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate closely with vocational trainers, school Heads/Principals, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of vocational projects. Facilitate effective communication and coordination between all parties involved. Documentation and Reporting: Manage various types of documentation, including SDMS data, school visit reports, vocational trainer salary records, invoice submission, expenses records, monthly and annual reports, etc. Curriculum Planning: Lead the planning and preparation of yearly vocational education curriculum in alignment with industry standards and emerging trends. Student Placement: Take an active role in facilitating the placement of vocational education students in relevant job opportunities or further educational programs. Foster relationships with local industries and businesses to create placement opportunities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree / MBA/ or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Excellent communication and email writing skills. Proven experience in school monitoring and handling MIS data. Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate and manage multiple stakeholders. Familiarity with government regulations related to vocational education is an advantage.
