Procurement Executive

About the role: As a Purchase Executive at K.L. Home Appliances, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring that our company’s procurement activities run efficiently and cost-effectively. You will be responsible for managing the acquisition of goods and services needed for our manufacturing and operational process.
Responsibilities:
  • Supplier/ Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors , negotiating favourable terms, pricing and quality standards.
  • Cost Analysis: Regularly analyse procurement costs and seek cost-saving opportunities through bulk purchases, alternative suppliers or other strategies.
  • Sourcing: Source and procure new materials, components and equipment required for the production of gas stoves and appliances. Ensure the timely availability of these items to meet production schedules.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and control costs to optimize purchasing expenditures while maintaining quality standards.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, ensuring efficient stock levels while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that the purchased items meet required quality standards.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, new products and market conditions to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Negotiation: Skilfully negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to obtain favourable terms and conditions.
  • Purchase Orders: Generate, review and track purchase orders. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all procurement-related documents
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as applicable laws and regulations.
Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business supply chain management or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Purchase Executive Or in a similar role
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Knowledge of market trends and supplier landscapes.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
Experience:
