We are looking for a hard-working vendor manager to assist our company in making sound purchasing decisions. Responsibilities include monitoring vendors to ensure compliance with company policies, attending company meetings, and informing new vendors of their responsibilities. You should also be able to cancel vendor contracts should company vendors fail to perform adequately.
Developing and sustaining long-standing relationships with company-approved vendors.
Meeting with suitable vendors to assess their products, inquire about their services, negotiate prices, and communicate any product or service-related concerns.
Research available vendors to determine which vendors offer the best pricing and product quality.
Continually monitor sales trends to determine which products are more popular than others.
Implementing vendor selection programs to ensure that the best vendors are secured.
Conducting interviews with new vendors and informing approved vendors of their responsibilities and obligations.
Establishing standards by which to assess the performance of approved vendors.
Evaluating current vendor management programs and identifying ways to improve them.
Experience in Quotations, Price Comparison, Approvals, Price Negotiations, Cost Optimisation Purchase Order preparation & releasing and getting supplier/vendor acceptance to company terms.
Expediting the delivery of material to make sure the suppliers deliver the material within the promised delivery time.
Preparing the payment approval form and making sure the advances and/or part payments are to be reached to suppliers/Vendors.
Maintaining all purchase-related data and creating MIS reports on purchases as needed.
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
Design, plan and implement sourcing and purchasing strategies
Work with suppliers, customers and internal departments
Maintain a database of approved suppliers
Job Requirement
Experience in an Interior design firm is a must in Civil & Interior, MEP & FAPA
Should be an expert in the Procurement process and best practices.
Should have strong knowledge of vendor management and supply chain management.
Should have strong interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills.
Track, measure and analyze company expenditures
Provide reports for upper management
Search and source potential suppliers and vendors.
