Platform Product Owner

Through Digital Transformation we identify, define and implement the mix of process, technology and culture that brings business, development and operation teams closer, allowing Maersk to deliver products faster, improve responsiveness and enhance quality for our consumers.
Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
• Understand, collect customer and product requirements and document them into business requirement doucments (BRDs) that can form the base for the technical devellopment.
• Ensure clear articluation and value delivery is availalble and validated before any development is confirmed or taken in backlog and rasie to right channels if not available.
• Reaching out to customers and relevant stakeholders to validate the requirements and ensuring that requirements do represent the wider customer need and enable Maersk to develop industry solutions.
• Based on the customer and product requirements, own and come up with the solutions that can deliver scalable, efficient, user friendly and highly robut solutions delivering on the customer promise.
• Responsible for the product roadmap that is aligned with business objectives, and translate it into goals for the individual teams.
• Be able to prioritize and adjust the roadmap based on customer and Maersk internal needs.
• Be able to set the vision for the capability and stay in tune with the market trends and solutions available in related industries/capabilities.
• Own communications with the wider team around milestone and release plans along with owning the product backlog.
• Research and specify new features and enhancements to existing features. Document the requirements via well defined specifications and review with the team and stakeholders
• Bring together engineers, designers, and departments from around the company to build and release product features & capabilities as per plan.
• You will orchestrate and be ultimately responsible for projects and products within your own track, and be able to define and track core KPI(s).
• Champion customer and stakeholder needs throughout project execution, ensuring that what is delivered meets the original goals and objectives.
• Act quickly on trends and opportunities by staying up to date on an extremely dynamic and competitive industry.
• Collaborate with UX designers for the discovery and design phases of a feature.
• Create, monitor, and evaluate the impact of experiments using a combination of analytical tools & research methods.
• And when a product ships, popping the cork from the champagne bottle to celebrate!
