Job Summary:
The Outdoor Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities by meeting with clients, travel agencies, and corporate partners. The role involves developing relationships, presenting our staycation offerings, and closing deals that drive revenue for Oh Stayz. The ideal candidate is a dynamic salesperson with a passion for travel and hospitality, who can work independently and has excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular visits to potential and existing clients, including travel agencies, corporate clients, and event planners, to promote Oh Stayz properties.
Generate new leads and business opportunities through face-to-face interactions, networking events, and local area marketing.
Present and demonstrate the benefits of Oh Stayz staycations to clients, showcasing the unique experiences and luxury services offered.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
Achieve or exceed sales targets and quotas for bookings and client acquisitions.
Identify and pursue partnership opportunities with local businesses, wedding planners, event organizers, and other influencers.
Provide clients with information on pricing, special packages, and promotional offers.
Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to tailor sales strategies.
Regularly report on sales activities, progress, and market insights to the sales manager.
Work closely with the marketing and reservations teams to align on promotions and client needs.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in outdoor sales, preferably in the travel, hospitality, or tourism industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and close deals.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage time effectively.
A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and solving problems.
Knowledge of Kerala’s travel and hospitality market is a plus.
Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and business development.
Valid driver’s license and own vehicle preferred.
Preferred:
Experience in sales for luxury hotels, resorts, or staycations.
Knowledge of CRM software to track leads and client interactions.
