About the job We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our collaborative team. This junior position is ideal for a fresher eager to learn and develop skills in digital marketing and administrative support. If you are social media savvy, detail-oriented, and passionate about online engagement, this role is for you. You’ll work closely with the Founder-CEO, gaining direct exposure while contributing to a socially conscious brand. The position focuses on managing social media and the website and providing support to executive leadership on brand strategy and marketing operations. Key Responsibilities: Social Media Management:
Manage and optimize UTMT’s social media profiles to boost brand visibility and engagement.
Create, schedule, and post content focusing on building brand engagement and increasing followers and fostering community engagement.
Conduct basic research to ensure posts are relevant and aligned with current industry trends.
Website and Web Shop Management:
Update website content to ensure it aligns with marketing campaigns and product offerings.
Support SEO strategy, manage the blog to ensure SEO optimisation.
Manage Web Shop including order processing, tracking, and customer queries.
Marketing and Sales Support:
Assist in executing both offline and online marketing campaigns and events.
Manage email and Whats App marketing initiatives to engage the target audience effectively.
Assist with customer service support to resolve issues and respond to product-related questions.
Support to the CEO as Brand Custodian:
Provide executive and administrative support to the CEO.
Assist the CEO with special projects, including research, new process development, and digital channel initiatives.
Qualifications:
Strong communication and organisational skills with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with social media platforms particularly Linked In and Twitter.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace tools, Marketing tools (Canva etc) and interest in SEO.
