**Job Title:** Laptop Technician (Chip-Level Experience)
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced laptop technician with chip-level expertise to join our team. As a laptop technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex laptop hardware and software issues, including motherboard, CPU, and RAM upgrades. You will work closely with our team of engineers to design and implement custom solutions for our clients.
**Responsibilities:**
* Diagnose and repair complex laptop hardware and software issues, including motherboard, CPU, and RAM upgrades
* Perform chip-level repairs, including desoldering and resoldering components, and replacing faulty components
* Upgrade laptop hardware components, including CPUs, RAM, and storage devices
* Install and configure operating systems, including Windows and Linux
* Troubleshoot and repair issues with laptop displays, keyboards, touchpads, and other peripherals
* Collaborate with our team of engineers to design and implement custom solutions for our clients
* Develop and maintain technical knowledge of laptop hardware and software components
* Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
**Requirements:**
* 2+ years of experience as a laptop technician with chip-level experience
* Strong knowledge of laptop hardware and software components, including motherboards, CPUs, RAM, and storage devices
* Experience with chip-level repairs, including desoldering and resoldering components
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience with laptop repair software and tools, such as SMT soldering equipment and thermal imaging cameras
* Knowledge of operating systems, including Windows and Linux
* Experience with diagnostic testing equipment, such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
* Certification in laptop repair or a related field (e.g. Comp TIA A+, Comp TIA Server+, etc.)
