Job Description:
The Inside Sales Executive is responsible for generating leads, advancing the sales process, closing new business, and achieving sales quotas. The Inside Sales Executive will conduct research to identify leads and reach business targets through telephone, email, webinars, and in-person. This individual will also actively participate in the planning and execution of company marketing activities providing vital input based on customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Management:
Research and identify potential customers through various sources (e.g., databases, social media, and web research).
Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for the next steps.
Customer Engagement:
Conduct outbound sales calls and emails to potential customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects.
Follow up with leads to move them through the sales funnel.
Sales Process:
Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets.
Present product/service offerings to potential customers in a compelling way.
Negotiate and close sales to meet or exceed quotas.
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions in the CRM system.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Handle customer queries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Provide ongoing support to customers to ensure satisfaction and success with the product/service.
Market Intelligence:
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams to improve offerings and strategies.
Reporting:
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or related role.
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude.
Working Conditions:
Full-time position.
Office-based with occasional travel for training or meetings.
May require working additional hours to meet sales targets.
